ACI Construction Awards
Showcases Regional Projects in Five Award Groups

On the 50th Anniversary of our Chapter's first chartered meeting, we will be honoring outstanding design and construction in our region through our annual ACI Construction Awards Banquet.

Entry deadline is October 1st for the juried competition. Awards are presented in five categories.

The ACI Construction Awards requires no entry fee for projects to be submitted, thereby encouraging large and small firms to enter.

Architectural - Visually appealing, judging the concrete's features, use or finish, building's or structure's shape and architectural characteristics.

Structural - Exceptional use of concrete in the framing system of the building or as a main feature of the structure.

Construction - Outstanding construction techniques, uses of materials, or new and innovative concrete use.

Unique Use of Concrete - Projects that fall outside the scope of architectural, structural or construction categories while exhibiting a creative use of concrete.

Green/Environmental - Concrete focused on reduced greenhouse gases, improved efficiencies of a structure/building. Encouraging market transformation towards sustainable design and exhibiting environmental performance.

The event staging and awards production cost is about $2,200 yearly. $200 Sponsorships are available to help the Chapter offset this cost.
