Fisher Industries is the prime contractor for the I-580 Highway Expansion. The presentation will focus on the construction of the Galena Creek Bridge and the challenges encountered, new technology, and specifications. The presentation will address: a. Aggregate mining and production b. Concrete Mix Design c. Transporting logistics d. Concrete Production e. Placement
f. Finishing

The Grand Sierra Reno and the 2014 ACI Convention - The GSR will be the host venue the 2014 Spring ACI Convention. We are the Host Chapter for the event, and our Convention Committee volunteers will come from Nevada and California.  

On May 8, we'll provide an update on the Convention and how volunteers from California and Nevada will act as personal hosts for event attendees from around the world. The Reno/Carson/Tahoe Region's concrete industry and educational resources will be highlighted. And we will provide entertainment and informational opportunities to the attendees as well. 2010-2011 Chapter President Tarek Khan is Co-Chair of the Chapter Convention Committee at tarek.khan@basf.com .

♦ Dinner Buffet 7:00PM  - Four excellent salads including Bay Shrimp, entrees including Vegetarian Lasagne, Grilled Salmon, Beef Steak in Hunter Sauce, side dishes including Penne Pasta and Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and delicious desserts, coffee and tea.
