President's Message
As President of the Northern California and Western Nevada Chapter of the American
Concrete Institute, please allow me to welcome you to our redesigned Chapter
website. The site has been tailored to the needs of our Members and to others
who would like to interact with the Chapter.
Special attention has been directed to the important function of ACI Certifications
provided by the Chapter. Note that various Certifications are available
as described under the “Certification” tab, along with class location
maps, a calendar of upcoming sessions, and a Frequently Asked Questions overview about
Certification.
If you are a visitor to the website, I encourage you to become a Chapter Member to
take full advantage of the benefits of Membership, including full access to all
functions of the website.
Two important new functions under the "Members" tab are the Live Roster and
Forum. The Live Roster contains our Members and can be updated by Members
directly, including information about new products and projects for your company.
The Live Roster is searchable, of course. The Forum offers Member discussions in
business and non-business topics. Knowing the intelligence and good-humor of the
professionals in our region, the Forum should be a very readable resource of business
and non-business advice and anecdotes.
To learn more about the Member’s Live Roster and Forum, click on “Home”
above, then “General FAQ” to download an overview of our new interactive
functions as well as general Chapter information.
Please let us know if you have suggestions for enhancements to the website. We look
forward to continuing the Chapter's 54-year history of serving the concrete industry
in our region.
Sincerely,
Kelly Idiart
