MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

For 2012 - $50 Individual Dues Continue

The Chapter Board has maintained dues at $50 for individual renewals. Organizational Memberships of $250 include two company-designated members, the company logo and link on the Chapter website and an visual acknowledgement of all Organizational Members during each meeting's social hour on the video projection screen we use for presentatations. Each member in good standing receives a $5 discount on the cost of each Chapter meeting.

If you have been involved in 2011 with our Certification Classes as a student, you receive a complimentary Chapter Membership. Those who complete classes in 2012 will receive a complimentary membership.

From the Chapter By-Laws:

This Chapter shall consist of Members, Honorary Menbers, Contributing Members, Organizational Members, Retired Chapter Members, Affiliate Chapter Members, Junior Members and Student Members.

Members shall be members of International ACI. Honorary Members are those who are Honorary Members of the American Concrete Institute. Affiliate Chapter Members are those who are not members of the American Concrete Institute. Other classes of membership may or may not be members of the American Concrete Institute. Organizational Members and Contributing Members, if an organization, shall have an individual designated as their Chapter representative. Retired Chapter members are retired and not gainfully employed.

Chapter boundaries are the Northern half of California including Monterey, Madera, Fresno and Mono Counties and all Counties North of these and the area of Western Nevada which includes Washoe, Storey, Lyon and Douglas Counties and the City of Carson City.

Those who reside in the Chapter area and are members of the American Concrete Institute may hold office. All members except Student Members may vote. Those who reside outside our Chapter area but who have business affiliations in our Chapter area may vote but may not hold office.

Application for and resignations from membership and requests for change of representatives of Contributing or Organizational Members shall be presented in writing to the Secretary-Treasurer.
